Associate Quality Designer - EA

Associate Quality Designer on EA's Frostbite - Editor Framework embedded team. Providing support, test coverage, and triaging issues for the development team. Creating and maintaining manual tests new and legacy features within the Editor Framework domain.

Member of the EA's Frostbite engine - Central Quality Assurance (CQA) team. I test and have knowledge of all domains of the Frostbite engine, specializing in the Editor Framework domain, and act as the point of contact for the team. I run and maintain manual test cases while improving onboarding processes in the greater Frostbite team. Additionally, I report and document issues that are found to ensure that the proper development teams are aware of them.

As the head instructor of the Sunday instructor team, I structure class materials around the improvement of student techniques and ensure that safety is of the utmost priority for my fellow instructors and students. I have mentored 15+ new instructors and have provided insight and feedback in order to improve their teaching and communication skills with students.

Graduated with distinction from the Games Development option. Notable courses include Artificial Intelligence, Games Programming, and Physics for Games Development.
Multiple group projects where Agile/Scrum methodologies were used for scope management and to ensure the distribution of tasks was accountable. Created a C++ game engine, and used said game engine to create game projects.
Final Practicum project for this program was a VR Self-Defense Serious Game, made with the Unity game engine, with the goal to teach Self-Defense techniques to the player. This project was inspired by my experience as a Taekwondo instructor.
Computer Systems Technology Diploma - BCIT

Graduated with distinction from the Digital Processing option. Notable courses include Object-oriented programming, Operating Systems, Algorithms, and Computer graphics. In this program, we were taught how to code in multiple languages such as C#, C++, C, and Java.
In the Digital Processing option, some notable projects that we created were an Image Morpher Android app. and an Audio Wave Analyzer windows application.
